Visit of the Atlantic Council Delegation

On February 1st 2017 Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies hosted the event – Security Challenges in the Balkans with Special Reference to Serbia – The Role of EU, NATO and Russia due to the visit of the delegation of the Atlantic Council.

Mr. Damon Wilson, Executive Vice President of the AC led the delegation, together with his colleagues- Ms. Sarah Bedenbaugh, Associate Director -European Union and Special Initiatives, Dr. Sabine Freizer, Nonresident Senior Fellow- Dinu Patriciu Eurasia Center, Mr. Damir Marusic-Associate Publisher, The American Interest, Mr. Milan Nič- Head of Europe Program from the GLOBSEC Policy Institute, Dr. Majda Ruge Fellow at the AC- Foreign Policy Institute, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University and Mr. Daniel Vajdich Nonresident Senior Fellow- Future Europe Initiative. Representatives of the civil society organizations, the media and the academic community attended the event. The visit of the delegation took place in the context of their Balkan initiative and its aims towards the creation of new recommendations to the US administration for more energetic policy towards the Balkans, as well as programs for the direct involvement of AC in the region.
