Anđa Petković, CEAS Project Manager is selected as one of the participants at the CALD (Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats) 2017 Youth Political Academy in Hong Kong. The Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD), in cooperation with the members of the Democratic Party of Hong Kong, will hold the CALD Youth Political Academy 2017 on 23-27 March 2017 in Hong Kong with the theme: “The 3Is of
Leadership: Imagine, Inspire, Innovate”. This event, supported by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) aims to: (i) train the members of the CALD Youth on the essential elements of leadership, particularly strategic visioning, effective communication and innovative and change management; (ii) institutionalize the CALD Youth Political Academy as the primary training program for member of the CALD Youth; (iii) broaden the network of CALD Youth by establishing contacts with other youth leadership in Asia; (iv) constitute the core group of CALD Youth members who can drive the organization forward; and (v) demonstrate support and solidarity to the Democratic Party of Hong Kong and its advocacies as the city-state
holds its Chief Executive elections.

On February 1st 2017 Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies hosted the event – Security Challenges in the Balkans with Special Reference to Serbia – The Role of EU, NATO and Russia due to the visit of the delegation of the Atlantic Council.

Overview of the IV #BelgradeNATOWeek

The Fourth Belgrade NATO Week was officially opened with a two day international conference, held on November 28 and 29 in “Aeroklub”, Uzun Mirkova 4, Belgrade. 

Over a hundred participants took part in the conference, including representatives of the state, diplomatic core, NATO, NGOs, youth from the Faculty of Political science, political parties and a considerable number of media representatives, which showed great interest in the relationship between Serbia and NATO.
