Invitation - Expert Roundtable - Security sector reform and military neutrality in Serbia-What role for the EU

The European Policy Centre (EPC), in cooperation with the Democratization Policy Council (DPC) and the Centre for Euro-Atlantic Studies (CEAS), is pleased to invite you to an Expert Roundtable discussion on 21 January. The aim of the meeting is to exchange views on how to strengthen security sector reform in Serbia through the EU integration process.

Speakers include Myriam Ferran, Head of the Serbia Unit in the Directorate General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations at the European Commission, Eduard Auer, Head of the Western Balkans Division at the EEAS, and Graham Evans, Rapporteur and Country Analyst for Defence Policy and Planning at NATO. In addition, Jelena Milic, Director of CEAS in Belgrade, and Bodo Weber, Senior Associate at the DPC in Berlin, will present the main findings and recommendations of their joint policy study on Serbia's accession process and the implications for security sector reform.
