Dragan Stoiljković, CEAS Senior Project Manager is selected as one of the participants at the International Leadership Academy (IAF) 2017, of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, situated at Gummersbach, Germany, on the theme „Strenghtening NGOs – winning support for ideas and their political implemetation“.

This event, hosted by Friedrich Naumann Foundation, aims to foster strenghtening of think tanks. During the course of the seminar, participants will continuously be engaged in two streams of learning: 1. A focus on the skills and knowledge required to build and grow robust, responsive and relevant NGOs and Think Tanks in their environments; 2. A focus on themselves, their own selfawareness, leadership and role in the organisation and team. This seminar will draw richly on creative and innovative facilitation methodologies, not only to support the learning of participants during the seminar, but also to provide participants with processes and ways through which they can support organisational learning and planning in their own organisations.

Anđa Petković, CEAS Project Manager is selected as one of the participants at the CALD (Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats) 2017 Youth Political Academy in Hong Kong. The Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD), in cooperation with the members of the Democratic Party of Hong Kong, will hold the CALD Youth Political Academy 2017 on 23-27 March 2017 in Hong Kong with the theme: “The 3Is of
Leadership: Imagine, Inspire, Innovate”. This event, supported by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) aims to: (i) train the members of the CALD Youth on the essential elements of leadership, particularly strategic visioning, effective communication and innovative and change management; (ii) institutionalize the CALD Youth Political Academy as the primary training program for member of the CALD Youth; (iii) broaden the network of CALD Youth by establishing contacts with other youth leadership in Asia; (iv) constitute the core group of CALD Youth members who can drive the organization forward; and (v) demonstrate support and solidarity to the Democratic Party of Hong Kong and its advocacies as the city-state
holds its Chief Executive elections.
