The Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies (CEAS) from Belgrade, Serbia, has published the Study: BASIC INSTINCT- The Case for More NATO in The Western Balkans. The Study is a result of a yearlong research conducted under the CEAS project Continued Fulfillment of IPAP Commitments – Stepping Closer to NATO, supported by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) from the USA.

Centar za evroatlantske studije iz Beograda (CEAS) ima zadovoljstvo da Vam predstavi završnu, integralnu verziju naše obimne studije Širom zatvorenih očiju: Jačanje ruske meke moći u Srbiji - ciljevi, instrumenti i efekti, sa zaključcima i preporukama koji su izvedeni na osnovu naše procene rezultata vanrednih parlamentarnih izbora u Srbiji u aprilu 2016. 
Odlučili smo se da finalnu verziju Studije objavimo sa zakašnjenjem smatrajući da su rezultati izbora odličan kontrolni mehanizam za proveru naših nalaza.

PRIČA SA ZAPADNE STRANE

Centar za evroatlantske studije (CEAS) iz Beograda predstavlja svoju novu studiju PRIČA SA ZAPADNE STRANE u kojoj se iznosi predlog o korekciji administrativne linije između Srbije i Kosova koja bi manje više išla duž sadašnje četiri opštine na Severu Kosova (Severna Mitrovica, Zvečan, Zubin Potok i Leposavići) naseljene pretežno srpskim stanovništvom, kao podsticaja za postizanje sveobuhvatnog sporazuma o normalizaciji odnosa, imajući u vidu da je sadašnji format pregovora pod okriljem EU u potpunom ćorsokaku.

CEAS New Report - BASIC INSTINCT- Executive Summary, Conclusions and Recommendations

 The Study Basic Instinct – The Case for More NATO in The Western Balkans is a result of a year long research conducted under the CEAS project Continued fulfillment of IPAP Commitments – Stepping closer to NATO, supported by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) from the USA.

The Study particularly  addresses  four  underlying issues common to all countries of the Western Balkans: incomplete transitional justice processes;  incomplete security sector reforms; constitutionally or otherwise embedded solutions that propel an illiberal politicization of ethnicities; and internationally led or sponsored processes that may serve short-term goals, but are implemented in a way that undermines the separation of powers, strengthening of independent institutions and  decision-making processes in already poorly governed countries of the Region.
